1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by MADDOCKS PLUMBING & HEATING LTD (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Service Description
We provide professional air conditioning and heating services, including installation, repair, maintenance, and related services. Our service areas cover Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex, and Berkshire. Our services are designed to meet the highest industry standards and ensure the optimal performance of your air conditioning and heating systems.
3. Service Appointment and Scheduling
You can request our services by phone, email, or through the contact form on our website. Once we receive your request, we will work with you to schedule a convenient appointment time. We make every effort to arrive at the scheduled time; however, in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as emergencies or traffic delays, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule the appointment if necessary.
4. Service Fees and Payment
Fees: The fees for our services are based on various factors, including the type of service (installation, repair, maintenance), the complexity of the work, the cost of materials and parts used, and the time required to complete the service. We will provide you with a detailed quote before starting any work. Any additional work or materials not included in the original quote will require your prior approval, and we will provide you with an updated estimate.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept various payment methods, including bank transfers, major credit and debit cards, and cheques. If payment is not received within the agreed – upon time frame, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee, as well as pursue other collection methods as permitted by law.
5. Service Quality and Warranty
We are committed to providing high – quality services. Our technicians are fully trained, experienced, and certified professionals. We use only high – quality parts and materials in our work. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our service, please notify us within 7 days of the service completion, and we will take steps to address the issue at no additional cost to you, subject to the terms of our Warranty Policy.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your service appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, you may be charged a cancellation fee to cover our administrative and scheduling costs.
7. Liability and Indemnification
Our Liability: Our liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of business, or loss of profits.
Your Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third – party rights.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, you will be responsible for paying for all services rendered up to the date of termination, in accordance with the agreed – upon fees.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written, relating to the same subject matter.
